Show Choir: 

This class is designed to provide students the opportunity to learn about different musical genres including, Classical, Jazz, Broadway Show Tunes, and Scores from Movies.  In addition to performing musical selections these students also learn choreography which is stylistic for each genre.

Concert Choir:

This class is designed to provide students the opportunity to learn about different musical genres, their composers, the music’s relation to history of the period, and fundamental skills for reading and interpreting music.

Expectations:

Each student will be expected to participate daily.
Students will have performance based quizzes throughout the semester.

Grading:

Students will receive a weekly participation grade.
Students will receive a grade for participation in the end of semester concert.  If a student does not participate in the end of semester concert they will take a written exam based on the concert music.
